Chris Grabenstein brought the laughs to the 2024 Tournament

Battle of the Books welcomed Chris Grabenstein as the featured author for the 2024 battle season. Grabenstein is the New York Times best-selling author of the Mr Lemoncello’s Library, Smartest Kid in the Universe, and Welcome to Wonderland series. We know our readers will relate to battle book Home Sweet Motel with the joys and challenges P.T. faces in attracting tourists. Home Sweet Motel won the Sid Fleischman Humor Award in 2017. Kirkus Reviews says “P.T. is a hoot and a half. A funny, madcap dash!”
